Competitive Review.

Do you measure up against the competition?

A 2-week QuickStart initiative from Bit Group

In today’s fast moving and dynamic marketplace, you need critical insight about your competition to help you build and sustain a leadership position. Do you want to know where your competitor’s Web site is gaining ground and yours is not? Or better yet, do you want critical insight that will help you take advantage of your own competitive strengths? Sounds like you need a competitive review.

A competitive review will generate scores that clearly show where, in relation to your competitors, your user experience is succeeding and where you need to improve. The competitive review will also help you take advantage of this new information by providing you with clear and specific recommendations for moving forward.

Activities

Bit Group will conduct a half-day workshop with key stakeholders in your organization. The goal of this meeting is to define your competitive market and select the features you would like to compare across your site and your competitors’. We will provide a list of common features, but if the list does not include features specific to your Web site, we can customize the review for you.

Once we know more about your competition and the comparative features, Bit Group will begin the process of reviewing each of the sites. Using a custom, weighted scoring system based on ten core usability heuristics, we will assign ratings across all sites and rank the sites.

After all the scores have been tallied, Bit Group will assemble the data into a presentation that clearly shows why each score was given and where you stand compared to your competitors. The presentation will also provide several recommendations for next steps, ranging from quick wins to strategic directions.
