An expert usability review is the inspection of a user interface or Web site design by a user experience expert. The goal is to identify the usability problems in the design so that opportunities for strategic improvements can be uncovered and fixed through an iterative design process. One or more experts examine the interface and rate its adherence to recognized usability principles known as heuristics.Activities
Bit Group will conduct a workshop with key stakeholders in your organization to understand your preliminary usability concerns, your business goals, and to determine a prioritized set of features (e.g. navigation, search, multimedia) that will be evaluated by our experts. As a starting point, Bit Group will bring a list of common features from which to choose.
Once the features have been chosen, Bit Group will review your Web site or application and rate the features against usability heuristics and expectations. A numeric rating system will help to prioritize our recommendations against the acuteness of the issues, your business goals, and the level of effort.
Bit Group will assemble the data into a presentation that clearly shows why each score was given to the features. The presentation will also provide recommendations for immediate next steps and strategic future opportunities.
